ZinaCal Food Program

The rules to follow to help prevent obesity, diabetes, and avoid associated chronic diseases: There are six principles to follow (which constitute a synergistic set).

  1. Believe it’s possible first. Without this principle, nothing will be done seriously.
  2. Follow the ZinaCal program. Follow a daily ZinaCal diet with nutrients (vitamins, minerals, antioxidants) and ZinaCal supplements.
  3. Cook your food with gentle steam as often as possible.
  4. Physical activity.
  5. Restful sleep: quality and quantity.
  6. Apply rigorously for the first six weeks.

General Rules :

Consumption of an oil balanced in OMEGA-6 and OMEGA-3:

Ideally, one omega-3 for every four to five omega-6.

An imbalance in favor of omega-6 promotes inflammation, allergies, cancers, thrombosis with the risks of vascular accidents they imply (cardiac, ocular, cerebral, renal).

Olive oil is a balanced oil in omega-6 and omega-3, as well as sesame and coconut oils, almond milk, avocados, coconut, olives, almonds and nut butters, and seeds (flax, sesame, and chia seeds).

Herbs and seasonings: you can consume as much as you want, as long as you read the labels carefully.

Sauce: say goodbye to ketchup and chutney, and replace them with mustard, horseradish, and salsa that are guaranteed “gluten-free” and do not contain wheat, soy, or sugar. Be careful with products packaged in factories that process wheat and soy-based foods.

 

Soft steam cooking

The idea is not to preserve vitamins or minerals but the structure of food. Cooking accelerates chemical reactions in food. Under certain conditions, this creates complexes that are resistant to enzyme action, including glycation agents. We do not have an enzyme capable of eliminating them, so they will require intense detoxification work by the immune system, diverting it from its primary objective of destroying viruses, bacteria, parasites, cancer cells, etc.

VITAMINS, MINERALS, AND ANTIOXIDANTS

Our diet is depleted of micronutrients and we eat differently than we did less than a century ago, which means that today we are all deficient in vitamins and minerals. Vitamins and minerals are micronutrients. They provide no calories. They are essential to the body and must be obtained through the diet.

Under certain conditions such as smoking, alcohol consumption, pollution, inflammatory diseases, and immune defense reactions, the body begins to produce numerous free radicals. To counter these “oxidants,” there are “antioxidants” found in fruits and vegetables, tea, wine, and spices (vitamins C, E, carotenoids, polyphenols).

Avoid stimulants: Nicotine-Caffeine: avoid consuming foods or drinks containing them after 2 pm.

Analgesics for headaches, almost all of them contain caffeine.

Alcohol activates the secretion of adrenaline and disrupts the production of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that promotes sleep.

Ideally, go to bed three hours after your last meal.

Avoid consuming hard-to-digest foods.

Choose foods rich in tryptophan.

Avoid electronic devices.
